Delicious and best eaten straight out of the oven!
Always loved a simple Jambon Beurre baguette from French boulangeries!

Used the based recipe from by but tweaked it slightly to include WW flour and Rye from and upped the hydration to 72%

Baked on a baking steel by with steam at
250c - 15mins
200c - 10mins

39 weeks preggo today and trying to get THAT bun out of the oven asap 😖 Until then… keeping calm and just keep baking!

Wholewheat SD Honey Sandwich loaf made with a stiff levain from , made with flours all from

I did add some 8 grain flour just because I had it 🙃

So delicious as toast or a sandwich, and so good for you! Will be making more of this to freeze!

Sourdough English Muffins from book , cold fermented for 48 hours due to a schedule conflict 🫣

I did substitute some bread flour for wholemeal and 8 grains from for some extra nutrition 😄

Turned out light and fluffy and full of flavour!

These have been frozen as McMuffin dupes for an easy postpartum breakfast!

Took a break from baking and my starter got really sad 🫢

So I finally decided to revive it, and after 3 feedings made some sourdough loaves to restock the freezer for the husband’s Manwiches!

Glad I still had some muscle memory!

I love the flavours of a seedy sourdough…. Oh but the mess it makes when you slice it up 🫣🫣🫣

Peeping into the future… 👓
Test baked a few Country loaves just to check the consistency of the bake.. I might have pushed the bulk a little too far

This is a 60% BF / 20% WWF / 20% Rye at 75% hydration

Was very tasty still 🍞

Got a lovely surprise in the post last night! Really grateful to have my mugshot in this month’s magazine , and even more grateful to have had that opportunity to bake with such a lovely group!

Was truly one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling week of my life, and seeing this article just made me reminisce the time spent with the wonderful teachers and my lovely bakermates ❤️🥖

Let’s keep calm and keep baking in 2023 x
