Running a small business is no easy feat. It’s not always as we say, “Love & Cookies”!

It takes grit, sleepless nights, determination and hard work and even then, with the perfect concoction of ingredients it still doesn’t bake up quite the way you imagined.

In all honestly, we were hoping to make this announcement in a few weeks and give the community more time to visit and say their goodbyes, but the recent fire changed that a bit and we will be serving our last beverage and pastry on Sunday, August 25.

We will be open at both locations from 8-12 Friday - Sunday and then closing indefinitely after.

It has been an honor and privilege to provide pastries and the BEST coffee to the Napa and Sonoma communities.

Sally will be jumping on social Sunday for one final goodbye, but for now come visit and give our staff some love. ❤️

{All confirmed cake orders through the end of September will be honored and we will reach out to discuss pick-up or delivery options.}

Our staff is THE most important aspect of this company. Hands down. Early this morning, there was a fire at our production facility. Thank absolute goodness, everyone is okay and were evacuated. But, because I’m not willing to risk the safety of my staff, we will be unable to use our production kitchen and will need to close both storefronts until we can figure out how to move forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding. And business owners?? Hug your staff today, please. ❤️

Are you hanging on to the last days of summer, preferably pool side at ? Or completely thrown into the new school year? Wherever you are, I promise a chocolate croissant will make it better. Especially when the chocolate gets all over your face and the flakes are everywhere. We’re open til 2 in both locations, come say hi!!

P.s. Did you know that not one, not two, but three of our employees have kids who are learning to swim at Makai with Tami?! She’s the best!

Join us (and the entire SOFI district) for the block party of the year with dozens of bands shredding their hearts out for top band.

Battle of the Bands kicks off tomorrow from 11-6 in the Sofi district {see map on second slide.} Music, drinks, dancing, food galore, and so much more.

This is a free event with drinks and food available for purchase. Come party with us! 🎶 🎸

Can we please just take a moment to wish this hardworking gal a happy birthday?? If you haven’t met her, Claire is our incredible general manager!! She is responsible for making sure operations run smoothly at both our Napa and Sonoma locations, as well as handles all custom and cake orders. She is incredibly funny, works harder than anyone I’ve ever met, makes a MEAN chicken and dumplings, and puts her heart into everything she takes on (not to mention mom to not one, not two, but FOUR GIRLS!!!).

Just a reminder to all our lovely Sonoma locals, we are closed today in Sonoma (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) while we work to get the AC fixed in the shop. It’s been working at only half capacity 🥵 for the last few weeks, and to ensure the safety of our staff and guests we’re making the call to close to figure out a solution.

We are however OPEN in Napa, so come see us there for delicious iced bevies, like these new seasonal teas: Jasmine Green Tea Kiwi 🥝 Citrus 🍋 & Mango 🥭 Black Blend.

We will be OPEN in both shops on Thursday (7:30-2) for the 4th of July with pastries abound ready for both parades. See you soon! 🇺🇸
