Napa Cake Studio Custom Cake Design I am an artisan baker of hand-made celebration cakes based in Napa Valley, California.

Everything I bake is made to order for you - I don't have a store with an inventory. Therefore a certain amount of lead time is required when you place your order - at busy times of the year you may need to book several weeks in advance; at other times I will try to accommodate last minute orders when I can. Please note that certain items, such as decorated cookies and complicated cakes, can take several days work and therefore need to be ordered well in advance.

Kicking off 2025 with this Hot Air Balloon cake and matching cupcakes for a toddler birthday party this afternoon. During the early summer mornings in Napa, these silent beauties float down the Valley to the delight of everyone but especially little children. The cake is Funfetti flavor and the matching cupcakes and chocolate and vanilla flavors.

Belatedly posting my last cake of 2024, as I got immediately caught up in all the Holiday celebrations. This graduation cake was made to celebrate a very impressive young woman who graduated from a year early and is set to take on the world of politics and international relations! This cake was vegan chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream, and the edible stickers on the cake respresent all the organizations about which she is passionate. Congratulations Sophie!

It was such fun to play a part in this surprise cake! Little did Ashley know that her boyfriend was going to propose on the morning of her 30th birthday celebration in Napa today - so of course the proud Mum wanted a dual celebration cake for dinner at tonight. This champagne bucket cake, complete with handmade fondant champagne bottle, will be brought out with their drinks as a sort of visual gag.

All my wine bottle cakes have edible labels that I can customize to suit any occasion - from replicas of your favorite wine label to a totally fictional winery named after your dog, the possibilities are as big as your imagination.

I love a good design challenge - how to integrate diverse elements into a cohesive look that doesn’t look contrived. This week’s challenge was to tell the story of a Lt Colonel in the Air Force, who is also a doctor, while paying respect to her Chinese culture. It features a hand modeled replica of her Lt Col insignia, stethoscope, a dragon, and an overall palette of red and gold. The client was so thrilled she left a Yelp review the same night - job done! Chocolate cake filled with raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream.
