**Albertsons Market Street Stores will NOT be selling our pies, cream cheese frosting packets or stuffing. They will have our regular offerings and take & bakes.**

A lot of folks talk about high quality gluten free products being “too expensive”. Trust us when we say we hear you! We buy those high end ingredients all day long, but to us, choosing not compromise on the taste and quality of our product’s ingredients goes without question. Not to mention, those higher quality & healthier ingredients, cost a heck of a lot less than a Dr’s visit.

Did you know that in addition to being free from gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, soy, and canola that we are also corn free? Did you know that most all powdered sugar is cut with corn starch? Well... at the beginning of COVID we lost our supplier of corn free powdered sugar. The ONLY other place to get corn free powdered sugar where we live is one particular grocery chain (to which we are very grateful to for helping us through a tough spot).
Sadly, that meant our cost on that 1 ingredient would increase by 3.5x per pound + tax and it could only be purchased in 1 Lb bags. In turn this switch would increase labor, cost and waste on any item that contained it. All during a time we had no idea what our future would hold.

When you’re a bakery and that item is powdered sugar, I’m sure you can take a guess as to how big of an impact that could have on business. So what do you do? Use a cheaper ingredient, add an allergen back into the bakery, and compromise on the integrity of the product and brand? Or bite the bullet and pay more to keep all of your customers included and safe?

Well, if you know us, then you know there was never even a question as to what we were going to do. We chose to take the hit, keep our product quality high and stick to our core value of inclusion. We also chose NOT to pass that additional cost on to our customers. Why? Because another one of our core values is to bring comfort and we couldn’t think of a time in our lives when bringing comfort & inclusion to others could be more important, than in this time of uncertainty.

Well, we told you our first flour blend release was going to be one of our most popular products and we weren't kidding! So here it is... You can now make our #1 selling product fresh at home, our delicious GFG bread!
We even filmed a YouTube video to go right along with it, so that you have all the tips and tricks you will need to make it just like we do!
Our bread flour blend contains ALL of the dry ingredients that you will need to make our delicious bread(including yeast packets), all you'll need to add is water and oil!

As we mentioned before, affordability was a key component in creating this product. It's our goal to offer all of our blends (many more to come) at or below the current industry average price point. Thanks to Local First bringing the milling of our organic grains in house and even taking on the feat of making our organic corn free powdered sugar, this is now a reality.
