A Sweet New Chapter – Thank You for 10 Amazing Years! 💙🍰🏡
To all my wonderful Blue Horse Bakery customers, friends, and supporters—
For over a decade, I’ve had the absolute honor of baking for your most treasured moments—weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and every sweet celebration in between. Watching your families grow and being a small part of your milestones has meant the world to me. 💕

A few years ago, after welcoming my third child, I transitioned from a storefront to focusing on custom orders only, which allowed me to prioritize both my passion and my family. Over the last year, I found myself balancing both baking and real estate, another passion of mine since college. Now, after much thought (and plenty of cookies 🍪), I have made the decision to fully transition into my role as a Realtor®.

Many of you may have already known this, but many may not, so feel free to share this post. This shift between passions is of course bittersweet, but also incredibly exciting! Real estate allows me to continue serving people with the same creativity, attention to detail, and dedication that made Blue Horse Bakery special. Instead of celebrating life’s moments with cake, I now get to help my clients find the perfect home for their next chapter.
I am thrilled to be a part of the Loblolly Properties, LLC team, where I can serve my incredible bakery clients and friends in a new way—helping you buy or sell homes, land, farms, and commercial properties with the same level of care I put into every order.

I got to create a beautiful rust & turquoise wedding cake this weekend. The pictures just don’t do it justice. This thing was huge weighing in at over 65lbs and I’m obsessed with the brides color scheme and the turquoise accents 😍😍 Wishing the bride and groom a lifetime of happiness and thank you for allowing me to create such a delicious memory for your special day!

Gotta catch em all! Another year down for Mr. Holland! His momma is not only a client but a sweet friend and even though her and her family no longer live in Nacogdoches, she drives into town every year twice a year for her kiddos birthdays 💙💙 not only do I cherish our parking lot “catch up “but love getting to continue to make their birthday cakes each year 💙

I’ve been slacking again on posting to social media, but what better cake to post than my annual Houston delivery that I get to do for one of my sweet customers who relocated, but refused to find another cake artist 😂💙. Love ya Jess and thank you for letting me continue to do your cakes each year! 💙💙 usually by Christmas I am overworked and veering on burnt out making everyone’s cake dreams come true throughout the year lol but it is wonderful customers like this that make my job so enjoyable and worth all the late nights!
