I spent the next 30 years making chocolates, fudge, jams, jellies and other treats for friends and family. I have also spent the last 10 years (give or take) demonstrating open hearth cooking at historic villages, using an open firep

lace and antique tools. It has simply fueled my passion for creating traditional treats, using either antique tools or reproductions. After years of being asked "Do you sell these?"...the answer is finally "yes!"

Not only do I work with the antique and traditional, I have a huge assortment of molds, ranging from common children's themes (Cinderella, Cars, Unicorns) to more elegant pieces suitable for weddings, showers, retirements, anniversaries, and such. (Sorry, I don't make many of the "traditional" bachelor/bachelorette party treats...if it makes me blush to look at them, I tend to steer clear of it...) I work under the Texas Cottage Food Regulations, so we must meet face to face at some point in the transaction - usually during delivery. The majority of the time orders are local pick-up only. The exception to this would be if you order in person, then I ship the items to an out of town event. But, since my passion is chocolate work, and I live with the East Texas heat and humidity, tossing a box of chocolate treats in the mail is not the best idea.

The fruits of summer are starting to arrive! We will begin with jams, jellies, & preserves so you can save some of those delicious summer flavors for the winter-time blues. For this workshop, Ms. Bonnie will show how to make blueberry jam. Then we will learn how to use the water bath canning method so you can store it in your pantry. At the end of the evening, everyone will have a jar to take home, so please RSVP. (We want to have enough supplies for everyone!)
