A fresh week is here, and our little shop on 3rd Street is bursting with sweet treats, local talent, workshops, and summer fun!
One of our favorite things to hear is when someone walks through the door and says, "There is so much talent in here." And they're absolutely right.

This week you'll find beautiful handcrafted treasures from our amazing local artisans, including handmade earrings, crystal carvings, fused glass art, journals, home décor, wood creations, unique gifts, and so much more. Every item has a story and was created by someone who poured their heart into it.

And of course, the bakery cases are full of this week's small-batch goodies because no two weeks ever look the same at Busia's!

I have been working on this idea for quite a while, and I am SO excited to finally share it with all of you!

If you know me, you know that Nailed It! is one of my favorite shows ever. I love the creativity, the surprises, the laughter, and yes...the competition!

Busia'd It!

Where Pinterest Meets Reality

This isn't your typical cookie decorating class. Each Busia'd It experience will feature mystery decorating challenges, surprise twists, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs along the way. You'll have to think on your feet, embrace the chaos, and do your best to recreate each challenge as it unfolds.

The best part?
Every Busia'd It experience will crown a winner!

Will you take home the title? Will your masterpiece impress the judges? Or will your cookie become the perfect example of "Pinterest meets reality"?

Today is a little heavier than most days for me.

Three years ago today, I lost my husband, John.

If you've ever stopped into our little shop on 3rd Street, you've probably noticed that Busias has never really just been about cookies, cupcakes, or gifts. It's always been about people, stories, kindness, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome. John was such an integral part of Busias XOXO. He LOVED our customers and creating his woodworking masterpieces that are now a permanent part of our story. Many of the shelves, displays. And tables were created by John.

A lot of the stories and the little 3rd Street Shop feeling comes from John.

He believed in me before I believed in myself. He encouraged every crazy idea, every dream, and every leap of faith. He taught me that the most important things in life aren't things at all—they're the people we love.

So today, if I seem a little quieter, please know my heart is spending some time with gratitude.

Gratitude for the years we had. Gratitude for the love we shared.

Gratitude for all of you who have supported Busias and helped me continue moving forward.

Grief and healing have a funny way of walking side by side. Some days are harder than others, but today I'm choosing to remember the good.

Thank you for being part of our Story and from the bottom of my heart...thank you for helping me keep going.

When you walk into Busias XOXO.....
Every shelf tells a story. From handcrafted cards and shadowboxes, to fused glass art, crystal carvings, 3D printed creations, dragon egg fidgets, handmade jewelry, and one-of-a-kind home décor—these aren't products that rolled off an assembly line. They were created at kitchen tables, in craft rooms, garages, studios, and workshops by people who poured a little piece of themselves into every item.

Today I overheard someone walk through the store and quietly say, "So much talent is here."

And honestly... they're a gazillion times right.

What makes me smile most isn't just the talent itself. It's knowing the faces behind it. The retired teacher discovering a new passion. The small business owner taking a chance on a dream. The artist creating masterpieces after work.

Busias XOXO has become so much more than a boutique bakery. It's a collection of stories, dreams, second chances, creativity, and heart.
When you shop small, you're not just buying a gift. You're supporting a local dream, encouraging an artist, and helping keep handmade traditions alive.

And for that, I am endlessly grateful, You never know what treasure—or whose story—you might discover when you visit us. 💕
