Pastry Chef Larra discovered her passion baking alongside her mother and grandmother, later honing her craft through classical training. I started this because my daughter wanted a cake she fell in love with...the minnie mouse cake in my pics. I bought the foundant and it came naturally.

A foundation created in memory of a Marion boy who died after battling leukemia is preparing for its third annual toy drive.

The Jamir Strong Legacy Foundation will collect donations throughout September in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The 2026 toy drive will run from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30 at locations across Southern Illinois.
