FOLLOW UP POST:

Our final 2 days was a heartwarming success. For the majority of the time, we had a line out the door. We knew it was going to be difficult to leave Murfreesboro. But we are extremely humbled and thankful for your support. We heard so many stories about how our donuts were part of your lives. Some folks took it personal (like Deion Sanders) as to why we only gave a 2-day notice! 😂 And some of you genuinely wanted to know why we decided to close.

We’ve put together a short FAQ list that we heard from so many of you:

*Will the new donut shop have Gluten Free and Vegan options? They will not be serving Project Donuts GF or Vegan donuts.

*What will happen to my Project Donuts gift card with a balance? We will honor your gift cards at our Manchester location until December 31, 2023. We encourage you to have your gift card ready and call us ahead at 931-723-3711 to confirm your balance.

*Where is the other Project Donuts location? Our original location is in Manchester TN on 1202 Hillsboro Blvd. It is a 30 minute drive from Murfreesboro on I-24 eastbound towards Chattanooga.

*Will you still honor preorders already placed for a future date? YES. We will honor your preorders. Any price quotes given to you will also be honored. We will be contacting you for delivery arrangements.

*Why did you decide to close?
We decided to close and sell our location because - like most small businesses are experiencing - it came down to not being able to find reliable help.

*Will Project Donuts ever be back?
Some people suggested going with a Food Truck. There were also inquiries on becoming an investor. We are open to hearing your ideas. Email us at [email protected]. We have an established and proven business model. Just need that entrepreneur-minded person(s) with baking/kitchen experience and financial means to take it to the next level.

*Should I continue following your Facebook and Instagram social media pages? Yes! Like Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic said: “Gonna leave the door open…”

We would like to announce the sale of our Murfreesboro location to a new donut franchise - Daylight Donuts. They will serve Yeast and Cake donuts, along with a variety of Kolaches. They will also continue serving our Coffee Bar. Their target opening date is October 1, possibly sooner.

Project Donuts’ last day of business will be Sunday, September 24. We will operate our normal hours: 7am-2pm. Any existing preorders will still be honored from our Manchester location and we will make arrangements for delivery.

Murfreesboro - It has been a tremendous honor serving you. We hope you enjoyed our creativity with donuts. With all the success we experienced, it was coming at the expense of family time and personal health. You can still find our donuts at our Manchester location. We thank you for all the Love and Support you’ve given us.
