Peanut Butter and Jelly Pie:
pie crust
peanut butter oat crumbles peanut butter drizzle
blackberry jelly (I used my homemade coulis, that obviously needed to be cooked until a bit thicker 🤦‍♀️)
vanilla custard (so smoooooth)
meringue
peanut butter oat clusters.

It's DELICIOUS! 🤤

Please be VERY cautious about outdoor venues and even placing your cake near a window in an air conditioned venue. This is what heat, or even warm air and humidity, and sunlight will do to your beautiful cake.
Regardless of how long it has been in the refrigerator, butter and the sun are not friends!

Strawberry Blackberry Almond Cookies

This egg-free cookie has a bkackberry puree base, freeze-dried strawberries and toasted almonds folded in. A little drizzle of milk chocolate to top it off (white chocolate would be lovely, too). It stays soft and chewy. Perfect summer cookie for tea, lemonade, or rose'!

Tea and Cinnamon Butter Cookies (recipe ⬇️ ), planning new landscaping and shopping for new swimwear. 💯
Your yard probably looks like ours; winter was rough on most of the plants so about half need to be replaced. 😖
Lost 25+ pounds so a 👙 is needed. 🥳 Ready for summer!

Cinnamon Butter Cookies -
1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon brown sugar (*optional all granulated sugar)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
(**see note below**)

Preheat oven to 325°. Mix butter and sugar(s) until light and fluffy. Stir in cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in flour in two parts. Scoop into 2" balls. Place on prepared cookie sheet and lightly press thin. Bake 14-16 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and let cool. Store in airtight container.

** I mixed in an additional 1 Tablespoon of Black Onyx Chocolate Sugar and then rolled in the same prior to baking. You can roll these in a mix of 1T sugar to 1t cinnamon.

As always, in a recipe like this use a good quality butter because that flavor is really going to shine. It's the star of the show. 🤩

Couldn't put this post off any longer, so here's the cold, hard truth... There will not be King Cakes this year. 😭 In addition to returning to work full time, I'm struggling with a recurring back issue. This is my absolute favorite time of year to bake, so please understand how difficult this decision was.
