I'm really glad this cake was so festive (Tangled themed!) because I'm making my graceful exit from the layer cake game. I'm pivoting my cake-attention to the cakes i love eating: snacking cakes,,,think single-layered and romantic/simply decorated AND mini cakes of all types 🐤

what's a plain biscuit for if not to enjoy all on its own or with raspberry jam + grapefruit curd??? riddle me that 😌 this one is plain because kevin made cultured butter (yes, yes I know!!!!!!) and therein left us with cultured buttermilk to be using however we damn please! and in this case, plain biscuits so we could really discern the ~flavors~ of the ~culture~ (which did ring through! whoa complexity!)
