Happy Fourth, Birmingham! Though our doors are closed, we want to celebrate a local business that was critical to our survival. firewoodbirmingham

Firewood Birmingham supplied us with beautiful cooking wood over the lifetime of Post Office Pies. They’re the place to get firewood in Birmingham - for home or restaurants - and we will miss them dearly. Always reliable, always high quality, and gave POPs our signature wood fired char.

Message them for all your firewood needs!

Let’s make it a weekend celebration for the ages. The wood fire is hot, but the drinks are ice cold. Come let us pour you one one last time.

🍕 TWO MORE DAYS OF POPS 🍕

To all the managers - past and present - who kept us running and in good spirits. Y'all were the heart and soul of what we've been able to build over the last decade. We couldn't be more thankful to you and we love seeing the bigger and better horizons you've gone on to 🍾

We're turning the lights off Sunday at 9pm. Come reminisce with us before then. 🍻🍕🥳

🍕 THREE MORE DAYS OF POPS 🍕

In loving memory of our co-founder, Mike Wilson.

Mike's belief in Birmingham hospitality provided the fuel we needed to get going and to expand. Mike never met a stranger, and always found common ground with everyone about food, music and fun. Everyone was welcome in his world and in his restaurants.

Mike, Brandon, and John are seen here building out our Rele street location. We miss him - and we're thinking of him today as we wrap up our time as Post Office Pies.

Birmingham - your boy is back 🥳

It wouldn't be right if Chef Hall didn't come close us out. He flew in this week and will be here every day until the 29th. Come say hey, grab a pie (or two), and send us out with love and good memories.

We're here every day from 11am to 9pm at our Rele Street location in Mountain Brook. See you soon.

From a former post office in Avondale, an outpost in Tuscaloosa, and our beloved Lane Park spot in Mountain Brook, it’s been one incredible ride — 13 years of pizza, community, and memories.

Follow along and join us over the next 9 days as we count down to our final hoorah. 🍕🍕🍕
