Sometimes in the Chef day, we need butternut..like, a lot of butternut, so I whip out my handy 9 year old smartphone and head over to FarmSource to check out the local farmer inventory. All without leaving the shop or waiting for the next market, yay internets!

Quickly distracted by the beef cuts available, we find Knox Berry Farm ready to answer our call!

Placed our online request for ALL of their butternut and some peppers, cuz they're some of our favorites, got confirmation and pickup notes.

Bosslady and I headed over to their farm, picked up our order, each bag tagged to make for quick grabbing. 50 pounds of butternut ready to get got!

We're going to prepare all this for a few dishes and orders, with the waste heading to compost with local Community Roots .

So ya, that's one of those glimpses in our day in our little shop of big flavors!

Knox County's own lobsterman Brett Fletcher, from local The Lobstah Shack, joins our Chefs for a special multi course Wild Caught Surf & Turf Dinner!

🍲 Dinner kicks off with a Surf course of our Chefs' Lobster Bisque, accented with fresh lobster meat and garlic crostinis to awaken your palette.

🥗 A special Turf style Pumpkin Duck Salad awaits for course two, bringing together fresh local organic greens and light veggies with shredded roasted Duck meat, crispy duck skin and Chef's Pumpkin Vinaigrette Dressing.

🦞 Dont fill up on salad! Our main course awaits with your own Whole Lobster and thick cut tender smoked and grill finished Beef Ribs! Paired with a loaded Baked Potato, Grilled Asparagus and Seasoned Butter!

Lobster picks and cracker tools are included and yours to keep!

🥧 Save room for dessert as we close out a truly unique culinary experience with our Pastry Chef's Chocolate Cream Pie!

Each reservation includes dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages for one (1) guest.

A portion of each reservation goes toward FREE holiday meals this year!

Shout out to everyone that joined us for a simply amazing Lobster Threeway Dinner featuring a four course lobster tasting menu with Knox County's own lobster man Brett Fletcher from local The Lobstah Shack!

🦞 Meal kicked off with Loaded Lobster Bisque, a creamy and flavor rich dish with dairy infused lobster stock, rendered from fresh lobster shells and claws, and fresh chopped lobster meat.

🦞 Fresh Lobster Ceviche excited our palettes with a citrus infused blend of veggies and diced lobster meat.

🦞 Equipped with Brett's lobster cleaning demonstration, everyone confidently enjoyed the main course which showcased a perfectly boiled Whole Lobster for each guest paired with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Corn and plenty of seasoned Butter.

🥧 Dessert closed out a wonderful evening Maine style with tasty Chocolate Whoopie Pies for all!

Each of our dinners feature a scratch made themed menu, Chef prepared with bold inviting flavors in a casual setting for the true foodie!

Chef Nav's Hot Potato Pierogi 🔥 is back tomorrow!! Our seasoned potato and cheddar filling gets a kick in the ass with a batch of Chef's Guyanese 🇬🇾 Peppa Sauce and finished with more fresh chopped peppers for a fire infused mouthful unlike any other!

Shout out to Knox Berry Farm for being a local farm partner for years and supplying some of the tastiest peppers around!
