There's a few new faces around here so here is a little re introduction with info on myself and the stand!
But first here is the upcoming schedule:
6/26 & 6/27 open
7/3 & 7/4 closed
7/10 & 7/11 closed
7/17 & 7/18 open (Christmas in July)
Wildflower Crust and Crumble is the original bake stand in Mt Sterling! We opened in April 2025. The stand is self serve, (typically open Friday & Saturday) with a variety of cookies, breads, cinnamon rolls, and other goodies.
I say we, but it's mostly me doing all the work. However, my husband does help with some behind the scenes jobs. He built the farm stand, sends me new recipes to try, calms me down during baking disasters, and is always willing to run to the store last minute on bake day mornings when I'm out of an ingredient. He has the most important jobs. 😉
Farm stand or bake stand? Both! Farm stand during the summer since we will have fresh veggies added to the mix, bake stand the rest of the year.
Some of my recipes are older recipes from family (chocolate chip recipe is from my aunt, bread & cinnamon roll recipe is from my grandma, banana bread recipe is from my grandma), while other recipes are random recipes I've come across over the years that deserve to be shared with y'all.
I'm a self taught baker. Nothing fancy comes out of my kitchen, just regular cookies and bread you could bake at home but may not have the time for. Sometimes it just tastes better when someone else makes it!
My main job is being a stay at home mama to 2 littles (2 & 5). Since starting the bake stand, it has required a lot of organization and schedules to keep prep and bake days running smoothly, while also providing my kiddos the best life of adventures. Everyday is chaotic, but it works for us!
