Rabbit Heart

Rabbit with Heart And Spirals I often do sketches and writing in my travel notebook. I will rename this place the Green Mermaid Café. The French flag is featured above, to honor the students of France, who are currently protesting poor conditions in school. As a scholar, myself, I feel for them.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani with Olive Branch

Mayor Zohran Mamdani with an olive branch He trolled a war criminal with an olive tree! I like him. He’s doing good stuff in NYC. Not everyone is thrilled with his job performance. But he’s nice-looking.

Blue Jay

Blue Jay, Dad’s spirit animal and likely mine also I dreamed of my Dad and I navigating a very steep tunnel carved in rock. I was the passenger. He stood outside. Somehow I managed not to crash the car. I trust God was the driver. This was last night’s dream. Happy to report I slept well!

September, Already?!

Tippy, my cat, in today’s travel journal I have a Disability Justice advocate in my Mexican coin purse! I mention her name, place of origin, and year of her passing in my notes above. She is featured on some American quarters. Along with other great American women who did wonderful things for us, and have passed away.

Dream Abstraction

Dream Abstraction Last night, I dreamed of creating a sketch similar to this one. I just now did a two-way prayer. You can find out about 2-way prayers in Julia Cameron’s “Artist’s Way” series.

Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi, international football player Lately I have taken an interest in international football. Lionel Messi led Argentina to victory a few years ago in the final FIFA match. He is a default follower of our Lady. I think that Jesus tattoo on his arm is cool. I did this with pilot G2 10 black gel ink pen in a brand new small notebook. Perhaps 4 x 6”.
