"Bridget Head started The Head Baker with a simple goal: to bring joy to others through something as timeless and comforting as a great cookie. Founded in early 2022, The Head Baker is the result of a lifelong love of baking that began when Bridget was just 5 years old, helping her mom and sisters make her favorite recipe—classic chocolate chip cookies.
Growing up, baking quickly became her go-to creative outlet. After a long day at school, Bridget would often head to the kitchen to bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies for her family—something that always made the day feel a little sweeter.
Over the years, Bridget has spent countless hours experimenting with new flavors and desserts, from cakes and cupcakes to brownies and beyond. But no matter how much she explores, she always comes back to cookies—where her passion first began and where it continues to shine.
For Bridget, baking is about more than just delicious treats. It’s about connection, community, and creating small moments of happiness. She loves meeting new people at markets and seeing how something sweet can turn someone’s day around—or make a good day even better.
