Monica's Cakes & Crafts

Even the simple small cakes make the occasion that much more special. This chocolate kit-kat overload cake is definitely one of my families favorites. It's sweet and loaded with chocolate but yet its not too sweet.

Happy Birthday Skippy!

I have some new followers so let me reintroduce myself and Monica's Cakes & Crafts!
Hi everyone! 👋💕
I’m Monica, the owner of Monica’s Cakes & Crafts, and I’m so excited to introduce my little business to the community!
Monica’s Cakes & Crafts actually started during the difficult times of COVID. When my daughter turned one, I decided to make her birthday cake myself. I’ve always loved being creative, crafting, and taking on DIY projects—and I’ve enjoyed baking since I was a kid. I even had a Barbie cookbook growing up that I loved to bake from! 😂🧁
After making my daughter’s cake, I started making cakes and desserts for family and friends. Before long, I realized how much I truly loved it and decided to take that passion a step further and share it with others.
For me, it’s about so much more than just making a cake. It’s about the moment it becomes part of someone’s special day. I love seeing the excitement on a kids face, watching families celebrate, and hearing how much everyone enjoyed not only how their dessert looked, but how it tasted.
I take a lot of pride in what I make. My treats are made from scratch using quality ingredients, with the exception of food coloring and a few specific components when needed. I truly believe you can taste the difference when something is made with care and attention to detail.
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, baby shower, wedding, holiday, milestone, or just want something sweet, I’d love to help make your special occasion a little sweeter. 🎂🧁🍪💕
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and my business. I’m so happy to be here and look forward to getting to know more of you! ❤️

So I have the opportunity to be a vendor at a craft show at Central Michigan Free Methodist Church October 3rd! Kind of a short notice...should I do it?! Hah 😅

🎂 Making your special occasion a little easier! 💕

I’m excited to offer payment options for cake orders! If you have a special event coming up but paying the full cost of a custom cake upfront isn’t in the budget, you can reserve your cake and make payments along the way.

✨ Orders must be placed far enough in advance for all payments to be completed by the scheduled pickup date.

✨ Because this option allows me to purchase ingredients and supplies and reserve your date, payment plans are non-refundable if the order is canceled.

I know I can’t always match grocery store bakery prices, but there’s a reason for that. My cakes and treats are made from scratch using quality ingredients, and each order is made specifically for your celebration — from the flavors and fillings to the decorations and theme.

My goal is to make it possible for more families to have that special dessert that helps bring their theme, colors, and vision together, without having to come up with the entire cost all at once. 🧁✨

Have an event coming up? Send me a message and let’s create something special! 💕
