My husband surprised me this morning with a GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers from Postcard Petals and my girls at Dry Bones Coffee Company surprised me with a half gallon of my favorite coffee, they even sent me cold foam 😭🥰🥹. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. Thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes. I love you all!!

Thank you all for such an amazing day!! You guys always make us feel so loved. It was so nice to see you all. We always love meeting new people, visiting with friends, and catching up with so many of you!!

Being at Dry Bones Coffee Company always feels like coming home from vacation, in a good way!! It’s seriously become our home away from home and escape from the world!! Thank you Gabrielle Sword for always having us, and Corrin Stephens for introducing us to such an amazing person, we love you both so much!!

We will be doing a small menu this week for those of you who have missed us. It will be very limited but will have some things you guys have been asking for!!

Good afternoon friends and family!!

THANK YOU all for your patience, we apologize for the delay. We have been busy in the kitchen and some how missed that this was posted (even though we have been refreshing our phones by the hour 😬)!

A couple days ago while in the beginning stages of prepping for this event, I will be completely raw and honest… I was having a bad day. One of those days you just question yourself.. get inside your own head…think to yourself “Was this or that good enough last time?” “Why isn’t this regular placing an order?” “Did they get something bad?” I’m sure if you’re a business owner you get it. If you aren’t you may even relate just in the day to day life. But regardless, it was just one of those days. In reality, it’s insane. My rational brain knows this… it knows you guys ALWAYS SHOW UP for us. But I think it’s maybe a normal struggle of your mind when you’re a business owner. Although it doesn’t happen often, it does come to mind from time to time. I have confidence in everything we are doing but sometimes I believe it’s just the devil playing games with my mind.

But as I sat there still deep in thought, feeling woe is me, my phone rings. Not knowing the number and not wanting to come back to reality I let it go to voicemail. A few seconds later I see there is a message, so I listen, and all of my doubts instantly go away. It’s a REPORTER from MLIVE named Roberto Acosta and he heard about our bakery and wanted to do a story… on US!! How amazing?

To our new friends we wanted to say welcome, thank you, and properly introduce ourselves.

My name is Hope & I am a Wylde sister, but not in the typical sense you’re thinking of.

Years ago my daughters and I created a game of pretend. We imagined we were three sisters lost in a forest and had to survive off the land. Jokingly my husband commented, “You’re wild sisters!” And after that, my girls would run up and say, “Can we play ‘Wylde Sisters’?!”. The name had stuck. The idea had stuck. A magical novel is slowly being written in my free time, and even when I’m in the kitchen, my girls will come up to me and ask “Can we play ‘Wylde Sisters’?” And so I pretend that I’m baking bread for us while my oldest is ‘fishing’ and my crazy middle child is making us a pie out of mud. Our son likes to make an appearance as well; scooping up his baby sister, laughing at our silliness as he slyly sneaks a scone here and there.

“One little game of pretend has become our life.” My oldest commented the other day, and I truly couldn’t be prouder of the magic we’ve created.

I am not the only one in our kitchen of course. From time to time our girls will step in and help me bake, but the one other person who helped make this dream come true was my husband. We call him “The Trapper.” In our game of pretend. Once in a while we’ll need his help in our world to trap an animal for trade or for dinner, but in the kitchen we call him “The Scone Guy.” Or the “Sourdough Bro.” . His real name is Jeremiah, and when he’s not working a full time job he’s creating beautiful scones, banana bread, carrot cake, & some other odds & ends he can come up with.

Together as a couple, together as a family, through blood, sweat, tears, & patience we’ve created this amazing thing that we get to share with you. Without you buying our products, & spreading the word we’d still be happy, but not nearly as successful. So here’s to you, the old and the new, the regulars & the ones just passing by, we will truly be forever grateful.
