It’s time for a reintroduction 👋

I’m Nancy and I have always loved to bake! When I turned 45, after YEARS of working in the education field, I decided to go back to school. I recently earned my Baking Certificate (May 2026) from Rowan College at Burlington County’s Culinary Program. 🙌🎓

In January 2025 I launched The Crooked Spoon LLC under the NJ State Cottage Food Operator’s Permit. I also hold a Servsafe Food Protection Manager Certification. 📃

You were a lucky cousin during the Holidays in my family if you managed to snag 1 of these! Brooklyn bakeries only gave 2-3 per pound of assorted Italian cookies, and understandably so! Made primarily out of Almond Paste, these cookies are worth every penny they are sold for, AND worth every effort to bake 🤗

It was a lovely week: full of shining a light on these amazing professions, and spreading joy to the wonderful women in my world.

PS: It is absolutely impossible to properly celebrate Teachers, Nurses, and Moms/Maternal & Nurturing Figures in just ONE week every year. Please spread these well wishes of gratitude all year long 🫶
