🎹 INTRODUCING BEGINNER MUSIC THEORY & PIANO LESSONS THROUGH YES! 🎶

YES Enrichment Center is now offering professional private Beginner Music Theory & Piano Lessons for ages 8 and older!

This service is being offered as an income-generating program to help fund the ongoing needs and mission of YES Enrichment Center. When you enroll in lessons, you're not only investing in music education—you are also helping us continue providing opportunities for children and teens in our community.

🎼 Instructor: Willie Tatum Jr.
Willie holds a degree in Music Theory and Piano from Darton College in Albany, Georgia.

LESSON RATES

🎹 30-Minute Private Lesson — $30
🎹 1-Hour Private Lesson — $60

A minimum commitment of 10 lessons is required to enroll. After every 10 lessons, a new lesson contract will be issued for the next session.

FIRST 10-LESSON SESSION

📅 Begins the week of September 14, 2026
📅 Runs through the week of November 16, 2026
🎄 One lesson per week for 10 weeks—just in time to learn and prepare a song for the Christmas season!

Tuesdays: 3:00 PM–6:00 PM
Fridays: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Students will begin building a foundation in piano technique, note reading, rhythm, basic music theory, chords, scales, and musicianship while working toward songs appropriate for their individual skill level.

YES is excited to welcome Oliver, our FIRST LongHorn Restaurant Hospitality Apprentice! 🍽️👏

Oliver is stepping into an opportunity to gain real-world experience in restaurant hospitality, learning valuable skills such as teamwork, professionalism, customer service, communication, responsibility, and how a successful restaurant operates.

This is exactly what YES — Young Entrepreneur Skills Enrichment Center is about: connecting our youth with professionals and businesses in our community so they can learn by doing, discover their strengths, and prepare for their future.

A special thank you to LongHorn Steakhouse and their management team for partnering with YES and helping us open another pathway for young people in our community. 🤝

🎉🔨 GIVE A GREAT BIG YES WELCOME TO JAYCE & TJ! 🔧🎉

This week, we are excited to officially welcome Jayce and TJ to the YES Family! 🙌🏾💪🏾

Their journey begins with Shop Safety & Introduction to Trades, where they will learn how to work safely, become familiar with tools and equipment, and explore different skilled trades.

Then comes the BIG decision… each young man will LOCK IN the trade he wants to pursue! 🔒🔨

From there, YES will begin helping them develop the skills, discipline, work ethic, knowledge, and confidence needed to grow in their chosen trade.

This is the beginning of a new journey for these two young men, and we're excited to see where their skills take them!
