Freda Hall

Freda Bailey Hall, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on February 16, 1946, Freda lived a life filled with faith, family, hard work, and adventure. She worked as a realtor for many years and was known for her warm personality, strong work ethic, and genuine love for helping others. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, visiting yard sales, and finding a great bargain wherever she could.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Bailey and Julia Bolan; her beloved son, Brian P. Hall; and her brother, Eudon Bailey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Curtis D. Hall; her daughter-in-law, Dawn (Jeff) Roy; her sister, Jewel (Tony) Brooks; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kayla (Matthew) Davis, Trey (Hannah) Hall, and Baylee Brothers. Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren, Grayson Hall, Campbell Davis, Tinslee Brothers, River Hall, Brooks Davis, and Lainey Hall.

Freda will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, her adventurous spirit, and her talent for finding the best deals at yard sales and beyond. She brought joy to those around her and created countless memories that her family will treasure forever.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the caregivers of Faith Caregivers for the compassionate care and support they provided. Special thanks to Deidra Worthy, Andrea Ware, Brenda Sullivan, Danielle Ware, Melissa Flores, Shirkeyia Jackson, and Britney Cleckler. Your kindness, dedication, and love meant so much to Freda and her family during this difficult time.

Freda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Roger Doil Parker, 81, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 03, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Moulton Memory Gardens with Scott Steadman officiating.

Born on December 29, 1944, to Doil and Clara Campbell Parker. Roger was a member of Fair Haven Church of Christ where he served as a deacon, and Sunday morning services were often delayed until he had shaken everyone's hand to greet them. He loved spending time with his family, being "Pop" to his grandchildren, cooking for his family, and tending to his cows on the farm with his best friend, David Scarbrough.

Survivors include his daughters, Beth (Ray) Sparks and Jennifer (Toby) Page; grandchildren, Colton (Kaylee) Sparks, Laiken Page, Brody Sparks, and Hayden Page; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Parker Sparks and Willow Ray Sparks; sister, Kay Parker (Julian) Hamilton; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Steadman Parker; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Ray Sparks, Toby Page, Colton Sparks, Laiken Page, Brody Sparks, and Hayden Page.

Honorary Pallbearers are David Scarbrough, Gordon Parker, Julian Hamilton, and Randy Kidd.

The family extends special thanks to the wonderful staff at NHC and Affinity Hospice for their kindness and compassion.

Kenneth Logan, 81, of Aldridge Grove passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. The graveside service will be at 10 AM on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Aldridge Grove Cemetery with Greg Dutton officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on November 15, 1944 to the late Elmer and Thelma Rivers Logan, Kenneth retired from the US Army as a Master Sergeant after 32 years of service. He was a Mason and enjoyed lawn mower sled pulling and has a room full of trophies to prove it. Kenneth loved spending time with his family, especially his grand and great-grandkids.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 62 years, Annette Logan; son, Kenny (Teri) Logan; grandchildren, Jesse Logan, and Lori Beth (Wesley) Weathers; great grandchildren, Serain Logan, Aiden Logan, Jasalynn Hutchens, Jaxson Logan, Jadelyn Ray Logan and Jamie Logan.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Roy Logan.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Logan, Wesley Weathers, Mike Legg, Zane Legg, Stacy Logan, and Mark Logan.

Wendell Proctor Sr., 83, of Hillsboro, Alabama passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at his residence. Burial will be at Caddo Cemetery.

Born on September 1, 1942, to Ira and Willie Welborn Proctor. Wendell was a simple man who enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. If you ever met Wendell, you would never forget him. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Wendell was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Proctor; parents, Ira and Willie Proctor; and brother, Orbin Lee Proctor.

Born on February 9, 1964, to Paul Hammond and Joyce Jarrett Harris. Beverly retired from Nucor Steel after 21 years of hard work. She was a Christian who loved the Lord and her husband most of all. She enjoyed hiking with her family, traveling to the beach, and the mountains. Beverly loved her family especially her children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed beyond measure.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Randall Nix; children, Dewayne (Harley) Flake, Misty Williams, and Aleasha (Todd) Powers; grandchildren, Hannah Flake, Connor Williams, Wyatt Powers, and Ruby Ireland Powers; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Zara Polk; sisters, Susan Hammond, and Carol (Wendell) Gramlich; brothers, Michael (Connie) Hammond, Timothy "Hambone" Hammond, Kenny (Jodi) Harris, Marty (Amanda) Harris, and Eric (Beth) Hammond; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Paul Hammond; and mother, Joyce Harris.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Flake, Connor Williams, Wyatt Powers, Timothy Paul Hammond, Scott Nix, and Ty Nix.

Honorary Pallbearers are her brothers.

Born on January 21, 1935 to the late John and Martha Hale Blaxton, Ethel was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. She owned and operated The Little Hair Shop in Moulton for many years.

Survivors include her nephews, Ray Blaxton, Phillip Blaxton, Tim Blaxton, Tommy Blaxton and Jimmy Lentz; nieces, Joyce Dotson, Jane Vest, Patricia McCreless, Kathy Heaps, Joan Jones, Janet Woodall, Linda Borden and Drema Travis; several great-nieces and nephews and extended family.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pearl Dutton, Corine Lentz, and Elaine Ray; brothers, JB Blaxton, and Junior Blaxton; nieces, Shirley Sapp, and Gwen Thompson; nephews, Donald Lentz, Lyndon Blaxton, and David Ray.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Blaxton, Tim Blaxton, Ryan Dunlap, Ronnie McCreless, Bubba Borden, Joe Woodruff, and Gary Vest. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of the men at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of NHC Healthcare, especially the Memory Care Department, and also to Affinity Hospice.

Neely D Crawford III, 78, of Phil Campbell, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Justin Baker officiating. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery.

Born on February 29, 1948 to the late Neely Jr. and Miriam Holcomb Crawford, Neely enjoyed fishing and hunting. After serving in the US Army during Vietnam, he worked as a coal miner, then pipe fitter before becoming a Construction Manager. He will affectionately be remembered for his big heart and he lived life to its fullest.

Survivors include his children, Nancy (Douglas) Hallman, Neely (Carry) Crawford, IV, Paul (Christina) Crawford, and Candice Muniz; grandchildren, Amanda (Warren) Lauderdale, Kerry (Krystal) Hallman, Tiffany (Curtis) Baker, Kayla (Brad) Morgan, Kent (Alexus) Hallman, Matthew (Shay) Crawford, Madison Crawford, Jordan Watters, Jacob Watters, McKinzie Nix, Brinlee Crawford, and Ava Crawford; 23 great-grandchildren, brother, Frank Crawford; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Kerry Hallman, Kent Hallman, Matthew Crawford, Jordan Watters, Douglas Hallman, and Clarence Coan.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Diversicare of Winfield, and NAMC ICU. They are especially grateful to his brother, Frank Crawford, for all he did to care for Neely.

Born on November 8, 1938, to Jim and Annie Moore Cagle. Lee retired from Amoco Chemical in Decatur. He enjoyed watching all sports, reading his newspapers, and keeping up with the stock market. Lee was also a talented wood-worker. Above all Lee loved his family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his children, Cyndi (Gary) Smith, Sandra (Rickie) McKie, Peggy (Randy) Cook, and Mike Tribble; son-in-law, Shawn (Jecelle) Padgett; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Dorothy Cagle; his wife of 32 years, Lerissa Cagle; parents, Jim and Annie Cagle; son, Rickey Tribble; daughters, Kandi Padgett and Beth Bates; grandchild, Hannah Smith; brothers, Raymond and Cecil Cagle; and his daughter, Kim Baucom, who unexpectedly passed away one day after him.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Honorary Pallbearers are Freddy Hood, David Hood, Gary Cagle, Steven Cagle, Jim Blankenship, Derrick Blankenship, and Ronnie White.

Born on August 6, 1963, to James and Lawanda Pool Rucker, Tawanda liked to collect Gone With the Wind memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Survivors include her cousin, Byron Randolph; and several extended family members and friends.

Tawanda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lawanda Rucker.
