After leaving I stayed connected with them. Baking for different events and also enjoying just being there. I went to a Gaja wine dinner in 2019. I sat next to Joseph Cetrulo, who owned La Campagna in Morristown from 1995-2012 and who recently opened in Headquarters plaza. I remember him talking about how he was looking forward to opening up a new restaurant in Morristown. He couldn’t disclose where but he was looking forward to being back in town. He was an interesting man and liked to hunt with bow and arrow. I think he said during the season he hunts in his backyard- but that could have been the Gaja talking. We were guests along with many including the owners of . I think all of us who were there, were there to celebrate the excellent craftsmanship of Gaja Wines. This is definitely a special interest, It’s like an art form to me. Jockey Hollow was the perfect place to feature this celebrated 5th generation wine made in Barbaresco. I’m going to miss this place.
