Cake pulls are a popular Southern wedding tradition, especially in New Orleans, where single friends (or all the bridesmaids) pull ribbons attached to hidden charms out of a wedding cake to reveal what their future has in store. It could be a wedding, a baby, travel, and so much more! Charms are usually then attached to a bracelet or necklace given by the bride as a thank you.

We’ve seen traditional charms, Lousiana themed charms, and even different flowers!
