Hi friends!
I hope you all had a cozy Thanksgiving. Mine turned into a sick weekend — I was down for the count all the way through Monday, which meant this week’s menu is finally making its way to you a little later than usual.
But I’m feeling better, the starter is bubbly again, and I’m so excited to get back to baking for you.

This Week’s Menu:

🥖 Classic Sourdough Loaf — simple, tangy, and perfect for everything -$12

🧄 Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Loaf — my personal favorite, packed with flavor -$15

🍎 Apple Cinnamon Scones — warm,
tender, and cozy for December mornings -$3 per scone

Preorders are officially open until Thurday 9pm

Pickup extended to Sunday 2-6

✨ Thank you so much to everyone who came out to my bread stand this weekend! I’m truly grateful for every person who stopped by, tried my sourdough, and supported The Village Sourdough Girl. Your kindness meant so much.

I also learned a few very real things:

• Bread and sunshine are not best friends.

• Winter is coming (and even yesterday’s cool sun reminded me of that).

• And donation-style stands simply confirmed that I really am a softie who meant it when I said “pay what you can.” 😂

I chose that model to make everyone feel welcome, but now I want to shift to something more sustainable — for my time, my ingredients, and the future of this little bakery.

With a simpler system, I can bake consistently each week without burning out or wasting bread.

So here’s what The Village Sourdough Girl will look like going forward:

📦 Saturday Pick-Up
🥖 2-3 featured items each week
💲 All items will have set prices

🌤️ Bread will stay protected from sun, cold, and all the elements

This new setup lets me bake intentionally, reduce waste, and give you the very best sourdough I can.

I will have 10 fresh loaves of sourdough bread and cookies out on the stand tomorrow from 2-6!

June 26th- The Village Sourdough Girl is teaming up with Communitea to bring you a night of Soup, Sourdough & Scones!

We will have two soups & two breads to choose from:
Rotisserie Chicken Noodle Soup
Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup
Plain Sourdough with butter
Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough

Soup/Sourdough combo- $15 per person,
includes tea.
Scones (lemon white chocolate chip) $5.
Lemonade $2.

In order to prepare for the night, we need everyone to RSVP and prepay with the link I will send when you reserve. Please know your soup and sourdough choice when you call or text 937.668.6648.

You MUST register by June 18th. No late reservations will be accepted!!
