Today's the day

Ordering closes at 3pm today, and I just want to say — however many orders come in by then, this has already been more than I hoped for a first pop-up.

Thank you to everyone who's ordered, and to everyone who's just been following along. If you still want in, there's a little time left. 🍪💛

One day left

I won't pretend I'm not a little nervous about this first pop-up — putting something you've made with your own hands out into the world never stops feeling like a big deal, even after 14 years.

Ordering closes tomorrow at 3pm. Whatever happens, I'm proud of this one. If you've been on the fence, this is me asking you to give it a try. 🍪

To everyone who's ordered so far

I keep coming back to check the orders, and every single time, I feel it all over again — someone I don't know yet decided to trust me with something as simple, and honestly as personal, as a cookie made in my kitchen.

That's never lost on me. Fourteen years in, it still means everything. Thank you for being part of this first pop-up. 🍪💛

"Made in a Home Kitchen"

Every single order is baked in the same kitchen I've used since 2011 — not a commercial line, not a factory. Just me, real ingredients, and the same care I'd want if I were the one opening the box. 🏡🍪

Why I started baking

I started baking as a small child, sitting on the counter while my mom made fruit cake as gifts during Christmas time. That's my earliest memory of what baking really is — not a recipe, but love you could give someone in a box.

14 years later, running Cakie's Cookies, that's still all this is: real ingredients, a little patience, and cookies made the way I'd want to receive them myself. 🍪
