Today I made double chocolate chip cookies for my friends. They were gone in seconds.

My second loaf of plain white bread. I figure I should start with the basics before moving on to something more complicated!

This loaf turned out much better than the first one. I made a few changes and learned a lot in the process.

Here's some changes I made and cool things I learned:

- I let the bread rise longer before I baked it.
-The oven light on its own provides enough heat to create a warm space inside the oven for the bread to rise.
