I’ve been really quite horrid at posting photos and updates, but here’s what I’ve been up to in recent weeks! Lots has kept me from the market, but nothing has kept me from baking! 💕💕💕

Chocolate cakes — one filled with a whipped chocolate cream cheese mousse and topped with a dark chocolate raspberry ganache and the other a wedding cake to celebrate an incredible woman and her new love — chocolate with hot fudge and chocolate meringue bc filling and coated in vanilla meringue buttercream.

Summer travels are over and Autumn has begun! I’ve been sinking into market bakes (think bars, biscotti, marshmallows) while getting to continue summer celebration flavors with these birthday cakes! 🍋🍓🫐

Cakes are an added stress (for sure!) but I absolutely love getting to help people celebrate the people they love. ♥️

Some days are all about making people feeling loved and appreciated. My 11 year old has one friend who has stuck by her and asked her to celebrate her birthday with her twice now, and my youngest and I have stayed to join as well. This is super rare in this area I have learned! We wanted to share the love with this girl, so we made her a vanilla cake with homemade salted caramel.

We were running late to the party and I forgot to snap a pretty picture (and that’s okay). 🤩🥳🤩

Happy Spring!!! 🌼🌱🌼

Cookie cups with chocolate chips and dark chocolate Cadbury Eggs filled with salted dark chocolate ganache were fun and surprisingly have the best ration of chewy edge to middle ratio. 🍪+🧁 = 🤤
