I’d just like to say I’m sorry for not having any new cakes, cupcakes or cookies to post. I miss baking terribly and am getting antsy to start putting stuff out again. I’ve been working out in South Carolina to help out. I’ll be back at the end of the month and have a couple of cakes lined out already.

Delivered this beauty today! The request was a confetti cake with lemon frosting, sprinkles, flowers, raspberries and pop rocks. This was the result sans pop rocks. The birthday girl got to put the pop rocks on at the last minute so she could enjoy the pop as she ate!

Time for another cake post! I know it’s been a minute since the last one so I’m sure you’re hungry for a new pic. We had a big birthday and it was requested for a chocolate cake with caramel. So here we have a chocolate cake with a chocolate and caramel frosting. Boy howdy was it good!

Made some Easter Cupcakes with my new frosting tips. Very pleased with how they turned out. The cupcake is a yellow cake and the frosting is lemon (the yellow) and strawberry (the pink). Turned out great and they were a crowd pleaser.

We had another birthday in the house! It’s a blueberry cake with a tv show in mind. I don’t know if I can say it, but if you know, you know! Since it was blueberry I went with a cream cheese frosting this time. Cream cheese and fruit go well together in my opinion. Might try more themes to help broaden my horizons. First time for a marble cake, topped with buttercream, chocolate buttercream, and chocolate and white chocolate drizzle. Waiting for the taste test results.
