Fun fact #1: when you’re from Texas and you move away, you get even more proud to say “I’m from Tx!” (Even when you move to Colorado and the natives are hostile 😬)
Fun fact #2: this is my first Texas shaped cake ever! 😂 Who knew I just needed to move to CO for someone to request it?!
We love living here, but I have discovered that just like tx has no Fall, CO has no Spring! And I think I miss Spring in tx the most, thus this cake HAD to have bluebonnets!!!

Isn’t she lovely?! ❤️ Perfect for a summer wedding! Every cake I make is a labor of love, (some more laborious than others ;)) and these hand shaped buttercream flowers were no exception! Delicate, detailed, dimensional, and above all else…Delicious!

Brides cake: vanilla cake with fresh raspberry filling and my lemon zest buttercream! Perfect for a summer wedding!
Grooms cake: a hand painted mountain scene and a nod to Eagle Lake camp where the couple met 🥰
