These beach-themed cookies were such a joy to create! I had so much fun playing with different royal icing techniques — mixing colors, brush strokes, and textures to bring the ocean waves and sand to life. Each one is completely hand-decorated with love.

I’ve rediscovered watercolors! I haven’t really used them since my school days of crayola palettes 🎨 Thoroughly enjoying learning new techniques, and how relaxing the process is. Pondering whether or not I could do this with food colors on cookies…. There may be some watercolor cookies in my future. Watch this space!
