May is mayhem month in the bakery! Between celebrating the Class of 2026, honoring our incredible USAFA graduates, spring weddings, and preparing treats for community events, the kitchen has been buzzing from morning until night.

One event especially close to my heart is Taste of Tri-Lakes, which supports the incredible work of Tri-Lakes Cares. This wonderful local organization provides food assistance, emergency support, and vital resources to families and individuals right here in our community. I was also honored to contribute to the Town of Monument's Memorial Day event, which brings our community together to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Learn more about the Town of Monument at https://townofmonument.org.

Thank you all for supporting this little home bakery through every busy, flour-covered minute of it all!

After all this and lots of late nights in the kitchen, the bakery will be taking a few days to recharge and refresh in the mountain air. I'll be back soon, rested and ready for another season of sweet celebrations.

This past weekend was all about giving back and celebrating some truly special people and places in our community.

I had the joy of creating treats for St. Peter’s Catholic Church - Boots and Bowties Gala, as well as for a dear friend and her incredible non-profit therapy farm, Bella Terra Farms- Barnyard Bingo Night. The work being done in both of these spaces is meaningful, impactful, and such a gift to those they serve.

I’m always so grateful for opportunities like these, to use what I love and this little bakery to support the people and organizations that make our community so special.
