Our deepest sympathies

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of long time Montrose County Sheriff’s Office employee Billy Chadd of Naturita, Colorado. Deputy Chadd was an integral part of the law enforcement community in the West End for almost 30 years. He spent over 20 years as a deputy with the Montrose County Sheriff’'s Office. He was very knowledgeable about the West End and was willing to pass this knowledge on to any new employee who came on board at MCSO. There will be a memorial for Deputy Chadd at the Naturita Town Park on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 10:00 AM.
