Our Urban Farms

Our Urban Farms At our new home in Montpelier, VT we grow food, raise chickens and live life as sustainably as we can. Enjoy! It is fun, good for you and good for the planet.

On this page, you can follow our local, sustainable story. In a small city lot, we decided to see how much food we can grow. It turns out, the answer is a LOT, in spite of the fact that the entire back yard of our house is designated "dog space," is very shady and cannot, therefore, be used for gardening. Follow us to get inspired to grow some of your own food.

It depresses the hell out of me that people I grew up with or am related to have turned into people that I wouldn't tell where Anne Frank was hiding.

Our Story

In a small city lot, we decided to see how much food we can grow. It turns out, the answer is a LOT, in spite of the fact that the entire back yard of our house is designated "dog space," is very shady and cannot, therefore, be used for gardening. After much success with growing our own food, we recently decided to add a Community Supported Bakery (CSB) that offers fresh, organic sourdough bread and more. Follow us to get inspired to grow some of your own food. It is fun, good for you and good for the planet.
