Bonté Bakery was founded in 2021 as a home bakery by Anne Marie after years of experimentation for herself, her family and friends with gluten intolerance. After selling bread to only 3 local stores, the bakery quickly grew in popularity within Vermont. We expanded our operations into a commercial bakery setting in July 2023 and now sell our products in 30+ stores in Vermont and New Hampshire as w

ell as offering online sales. As we grow we remain committed to high quality and ethical standards as stated below in our mission, vision and values.

Plus it has magical binding powers that strengthen our doughs. In our opinion, we use the best buckwheat flour out there, from Bouchard Family Farm in Maine. ❤️

Marc Edwards has been driving and delivering and packing bread for us for a while now. He’s a sweetheart you can’t help but love- he’s smiley and quiet and smart and likes to talk books he’s currently reading. Then he picks up a guitar and slays. He absolutely shreds a bluegrass tune, if you ever get the chance to see him play, we highly recommend it!
