I’m sitting here drinking my Alani Witch’s Brew, minding my own damn business, when my brain decided:

A little lemon cake situation happening over here — lemon cake layers, a luscious lemon curd filling and a lemon cream cheese whipped frosting 🍋🤤

I finished John’s 10th birthday cake and was so excited to finally show him… and this boy looks at it and goes:

“Hey, that’s exactly what I was thinking in my head!!!” 🥹🖤🤍🎂🔟

LIKE OKAY THEN 😭😭😭

Chocolate cake, Oreo chocolate mousse, Oreo frosting, chocolate ganache, ALL the Oreos and a whole lot of love went into this one 🍪🍫

Knowing I somehow turned the cake he had pictured in his head into an actual cake sitting in front of him just made all the late-night baking worth it 🥹❤️
