The life of a cottage baker! All three mixers going at the same time, mixing up some great sourdough. It will ferment this afternoon, then shape and put in the fridge this evening for a looooong rest to develop that delicious, tangy sourdough flavor. It will be ready to bake on Friday so you can have some fresh sourdough at the Monticello Market, Downtown on Saturday morning. See you there, sourdough lovers!

It is almost Jeep time! Saturday will be the final Monticello Market, Downtown for the season, so you might want to stock up. Baked goods freeze great! I won't be out again until Foothills Festival in Albany in October! Check back here later in the week for my lineup.

• Location: Mill Springs Mill Recreation Area, 9155 Hwy 1275 N, Monticello, KY 42633
• Vendor types wanted: Craft vendors, artisans, handmade goods, food vendors, local businesses, etc.

NOTE: Space is physically limited at this site. Do not arrive without prior approval!

• Brief description of the event: family/community festival, local heritage, expected attendance 1500-2500
• Vendor registration: There is limited space available, vendors will be assigned a designated space (~15’ x 20’) upon registration (issued on a first come, first served basis)
