Today, the Montgomery Rotary Club celebrated one of Rotary’s most meaningful traditions—the Passing of the Gavel.

We extend our sincere gratitude to outgoing President Kimberly Baker for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and service over the past year. Through her commitment to Rotary’s mission and our club, Kimberly helped strengthen our impact in the community and fostered fellowship among our members. We thank her for a remarkable year and for the many ways she has embodied Service Above Self.

As we look ahead, we are excited to welcome Henry Davis as our new Club President. Henry’s passion for service, leadership, and commitment to Rotary make him exceptionally well-suited to guide our club in the year ahead. We look forward to working alongside him as we continue to make a positive difference in Montgomery and beyond.

The Montgomery Rotary Club has presented checks to Friendship Mission to help with its efforts in serving the homeless.

Today, the Montgomery Rotary Club had the honor of recognizing the incredible work of Friendship Mission during our annual charity luncheon 💙

We were proud to present two donations in support of their mission—helping provide essential resources and create healthier, more welcoming outdoor spaces for the women’s and children’s shelter. From garden beds and irrigation to seating and supplies, these contributions will make a lasting impact. 🌿

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Joshua M. Pendergrass, Esq., for sharing his time and insight with us—it made the day even more meaningful.
