Faye 's funeral will be Fri at 5pm at St Michael's Catholic Church in Montezuma. A potluck reception will be held immediately following the service.

Our precious sister in Christ, Faye T. Smith has been called home. She has been a longstanding board member of the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen. She, and her beloved Chris Christopher Smith and St Michael's Catholic Church had been instrumental in starting up our volunteer health clinic at the Soup kitchen. Even when the clinic closed, she helped provide checks so i could sponsor uninsured patients into our family practice clinic. She and Chris are now reunited, and while we will miss her greatly, celebrate that she is in the Father's loving arms. I do believe she will hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant ", as well as a thank you from all the children she taught, and all the folks she loved at the Soup Kitchen and St Michael's.

The Soup kitchen will not be open Christmas eve or New Year's eve.

Please pray for our sweet sister in Christ, Faye. She is having health issues. Lifting her up to the Great Physician for complete healing in Jesus' name.

A wonderful Thanksgiving meal at the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen. Over 100 people were served as we celebrated the good Lord's blessings.

Thanks to Ideal WMU for their food drive which collected 20 #10 cans of vegetables for the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen!
With the loss of food assistance, please if your church is doing something, so we can spread the word and come together as the body of Christ to help our neighbors.

The Soup Kitchen will be closed this Wednesday May 6th due to road closure of Dooley St. downtown for construction.
