Hey Everyone, My name is Anna Tedeton for those who don't know me. I have dreamed of being a chef for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of helping my mom in the kitchen. I can remember constantly asking her to make cookies, cakes, banana bread, casseroles and anything else she would allow me to join in helping. I began decorating cakes when I was 15 and fell in love with

it! My family and friends were so supportive and always willing to taste-test a cake, muffin, cookie or cupcake to help me improve my art. I continued baking aggressively all the way through high school, but when I graduated and moved away for college the passion started to subside. I thought I was being childish and should move on but the passion never died. The time between 2011-2013 I ignored the desire to one day follow this dream which still lingered in my mind. God started to show me I needed to rekindle my passion. He started bringing up events and people which allowed me to start baking again. However, I began to be overwhelmed with the thought of culinary school’s cost. I wanted to further my knowledge and make the best I could but the funds weren't there so I started to pray and ask God for His wisdom band His provision. No surprise, He provided… Like always. On January 8, 2014, my 21st birthday, my sweet sister, Amber Smith, gave me a gift which I will forever be grateful. She enrolled me in the first of four Wilton Cake Decorating courses. I have since finished this course and will soon be enrolled in the second. My hope is to one day be certified as a Wilton Cake Decorating teacher. This is not a culinary degree, but it is a start on the path which I know is right for me! I know God has an amazing plan for me, and I am finally starting to see a small portion!
