1½ cups powdered sugar
1 cup red and green M&M’s

Pecan Pie Brownies 🍫🥧

Ingredients:

Brownie Layer:
1 box brownie mix (for a 9x13 pan), prepared according to package directions
OR use your favorite homemade brownie recipe to make a 9x13 pan
Ingredients listed on the box (usually oil, water, and eggs)

Pecan Pie Topping:
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups pecan halves

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions (or your homemade recipe). Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth. Fold in the pecan halves.
Carefully pour the pecan pie mixture over the partially baked brownies, spreading it evenly.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is set and slightly golden.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing to allow the layers to set.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Baking Time: 45-50 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
Kcal: 330 kcal per serving | Servings: 16 brownies

Tips:
For cleaner slices, chill the brownies for 15-20 minutes before cutting.
Use dark chocolate brownies for a richer flavor that complements the pecan topping.
