My name is Lisa Crawford. Monroe is my home and Louisiana in my blood. As such, I love to cook. I happened upon making King Cakes during the Mardi Gras season of 2014. It became a real love as I perfected my recipes. I took a basic King Cake recipe and tweaked it. The glaze started off as nothing out of the ordinary and I made it my own, too. My King Cakes are larger than traditional cakes you mig

ht find in local grocery stores. Each takes approximately 5 hours to make from start to finish. There are a lot of great bakers out there and you have many choices when it comes to King Cakes. I would be honored if you would try mine. I make each one from scratch. From the first stick of butter unwrapped and melted to begin the base to the last Mardi Gras bead carefully placed on top. Hello everyone and I hope this message finds you all well. Regretfully, I will not be making king cakes this year. I’m going to take a little time off. I have made so many over the years that I’m a little burned out right now and I don’t want to undertake it if my heart isn’t in it 100%. I will be back and will message here to let y’all know when I’ll be back up and running. I’m so very sorry if this messes up anyone’s plans but I just need a break. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as our family dealt with an unspeakable tragedy last week. We are back in the kitchen this morning and King Cakes are underway so if you’d still like to order, get your orders in. Hello all.

I am coming to you to let you know that I have had a death in the family. She was an immediate family member so please bear with me if you ordered a king cake for this week. I promise to do my best to fulfill your orders but there is a chance that I will need to either rebook some for a later date or sadly cancel if an alternate time cannot he found. Believe me when I say that I will understand if you need to cancel. I understand wanting it when you want it or having a certain specified time when you might be needing it so no worries at all. I just wanted to give y’all a heads up as to what my next week will be filled with… Thank you so much for understanding.

2019 Menu and Pricing

NOTE: This year I’m trying something a little different with the icing and will offer a lighter icing option as well as my customary heavier option. The prices this year will remain the same but if you opt for the heavier icing, there will be an additional $2 charge. Lighter doesn’t mean less calories but a smaller portion...like a drizzle. It also means less colored sugar. Same great taste just not as much of it.

Traditional (cinnamon/sugar mixture on a layer of sweet cream butter) $40 or $42
Traditional with Nuts $45 or $47

Cream Cheese $45 or $47
Cream Cheese with any Fruit $50 or $52

Cream Cheese with any Fruit and any Nut $55 or $57

Pecan Praline $50 or $52

Nuts offered: pecan, cashew, almond, peanut, walnut. No price change.

Individual Slices (based on availability) $5.00 each.

"Extra" anything an additional $2.50-$5.00 depending on item but no more than $5.00.

Special order pricing to be determined.

Please allow 48 hours from order for delivery. We will do our best to accommodate every order.

For orders of 10 cakes or more, please allow a minimum of 72 hours for preparation and delivery.

Will ship anywhere in the country via Postal Service Priority Mail at your cost. King cakes do very well during shipping. They do come disassembled so consider that when placing your order.

If you have a flavor in mind and I don’t offer it, I’ll give it a whirl! I’m always game for new flavors! Suggest away!

Hello everyone!! Whew!! It’s that time again. I’m sorry I’ve been so quiet. Life has been wild around here. It’s just about time for me to get going again and I’m excited!! Mardi Gras is March 5 this year and my custom has always been to start baking about a month before and go to the Friday after so in keeping with that, my first day to bake will be Feb 4 and last will be March 8th. I know King Cakes are already available but hope you’re saving a little room for mine. The new menu will be out next week so stay tuned. God Bless and Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!!
