Earth Oven Wood-fired Bread WOOD-FIRED SOURDOUGH BREAD We are a small bakery located in Monroe, Maine baking wood-fired sour dough breads with organic ingredients.

Currently we make a french batard and a seeded boule. We bake every Wednesday night into Thursday mornings and our bread is available to purchase directly from us with an order in advance made by Wednesday. Our bread is also available to purchase at the Belfast Coop in Belfast, Garden Variety in Knox and RAYR Wine Shop in Rockport. We hope you enjoy our bread as much as we enjoy sharing it with you.

Thank you all so much for a great season! I hope to start baking again in the spring. I appreciate all your support and enthusiasm for the bread! A special thanks to Nicholas Cullen and Dan Tarr for helping me all last year and for being so understanding about the limitations of this business--you guys are great, and this would never have started without you, and I have really missed your company during the bakes this year!

Earth Oven is baking for Saturday, the 29th and once more for Thursday, January 3rd before closing for the winter. Depending on the weather we plan to re-open sometime in February or early March. Many thanks and happy holidays!

This week only we will be baking bread for Tuesday delivery to the Co-op. If you can get to the bakery in Monroe we will be happy to reserve bread for you. It will keep very well for thanksgiving on Thursday! HAPPY THANKSGIVING !! from Brady, Dan & Nick.
