This cake was specially crafted for Gurdaas Singh’s Dastaar bandi and Charnee Lagni ceremony. The Kirpan (knife) is handmade and was labor of love. Dastaar Bandi is a coming-of-age ceremony marking the passage of respect of a young Singh to a man by tying his crown daily while incorporating the five gifts, Sikh articles of faith. The Charnee Lagna acknowledges and marks the beginning of a Sikh’s journey with Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I got to be a part of such a beautiful ceremony and witness the love and bond the beautiful family shared. Thank you for letting my family be a part of this special occasion❤️

Zest, Berries, and Big Ideas! 🍋🫐

I had such a blast sharing these Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes at the recent small business pitch and networking event. There’s nothing like a little hint of fresh lemon and velvety cream cheese frosting to fuel great conversations and community connections. Also, I wanted to create something as unique as the speakers themselves. Along with our Lemon Blueberry favorites, I crafted special floral-decorated cupcakes to celebrate the coming spring.
