Canaan Farm Wood Fired Pies is located in East Monmouth, ME. The whole idea with my pies is to offer the very best, freshest pies possible. I bake fresh Pies weekly using mostly local, seasonal, (organic when possible) ingredients. Many of the fruits and vegetables I use we grow right here on our 224 year old homestead. We have our own rhubarb, blackberries, black raspberries, I drive over to Vienna,. in the Summer for wild Maine Blueberries...
and to Poland for the best Cortland Apples around. Eggs come from a few different local sources, which really add flavor and color to my crusts. It's time to get back to basics and eat REAL food....REMEMBER,,Friday is PIEDAY!

GREAT NEWS... I have apples! Zestar apples to be exact. These are an earlier variety than the Cortlannds, and boy are they amazing!!!
So beginning this Friday I will have apple pies once again!
Please remember to text me (207) 458-4254 with an order NOT through Facebook. I don't always see my FB notifications and would hate to miss your order.
I will have straight apple pies | Cran-apple pies with either traditional crusts or a crumble top.

The answer is...As SOON as the Cortlands are ready! Which is usually around mid September so hang in there, they're coming!

Well hello everyone! I cannot believe it we are in the last week of August! It has been an incredible Summer this year, great weather and many new faces here at the pie shed.
It is however getting harder to judge how many pies to bake each week these days. This is when ordering ahead really helps. With the cost of Blueberries being so high right now, I really don't want to have Leftovers after Sunday.
When possible, just shoot me a text to order a pie (s) anytime. (207) 458-4254 I will be back to baking on Fridays only (with the exception of Labor Day weekend Because I usually have a lot to do so, both Thursday and Friday for that weekend)
People have also been asking about Apple pies.... we will let everyone know as soon as the Cortland apples are ready and get right to it!
Until then stop in for Wild Maine blueberry pie and blueberry /cranberry combinations it's still Summer!
