Hey,
I'm Shayla, and I'm the one running this madness that I love so much! I don't want to take focus away from my passions that I want to share with you, but I also think sometimes it's hard to remember that a small, local business is just that. I am nowhere else. I have no one working for me. I do this all on my own time (where do I find the time is the REAL question) and I don't have any corporate tricks, relationships or any of those corporate perks to help guide my success. It's just me and my dream, and believe it or not, it is true when they say when you buy from local business you're helping a local family put food on their table. Helping pay their bills. Helping them live their dreams. This is independent business owning and I will take all of the good, the bad, and everything in between if it means my dreams have a chance of coming true. Thank you, endlessly, to those who have supported me over this 5 year journey. I have come a long way and don't plan on stopping any time soon. In fact, I'm just getting started 🤗

What do we think about private candle making parties 👀 Small groups only with reservations made. I'm thinking everyone gets to choose their style vessels that will I have available, play around with scents/scent wheel chart until they find a combo that's uniquely them, and then hand pour/wick their own candle. Wine/charcuterie board service is optional. Hang out after for a while or head out and wait for candle pick up in as little as 4 hours same day! Would LOVE feedback on this! The Quad Cities is known for doing really unique and creative events and I think this adds to that charm while supporting local, small business! I also wouldn't mind looking into collaborating with another local business to customize snack boards/things of that nature while also making money and getting your name out there! 🤗
