PURE EVIL: a New Mexico mother is accused of taking HER OWN CHILDREN to a man to S*XUALLY ABU$E THEM in exchange for HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS.

Landy Victoria Carrejo, 37, of Chaparral, has been indicted on two first-degree felony counts of human trafficking involving children younger than 13.

According to an Otero County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, one child said the alleged ab*se began when she was around 4 or 5 years old, happened three to four times a month and continued until she was 8.

A second child described roughly 10 incidents that allegedly began when she was between 6 and 8 years old.

Investigators say an El Paso man, described in the affidavit as a restaurant and apartment complex owner, paid Carrejo about $400 to $500 per encounter.

Carrejo allegedly gave the children $50 to $100 afterward.

Most of the alleged ab*se reportedly took place at a location known as El Rancho near the Fox Plaza shopping center in El Paso.

A grand jury indicted Carrejo on Sept. 16. She was arrested by Otero County deputies and later RELEASED ON A PERSONAL RECOGNIZANCE BOND. WTF?!?

Carrejo, a Mexican national, is now being held in ICE custody at the El Paso Processing Center while removal proceedings move forward.

Authorities had reportedly been called to her home multiple times before the trafficking case over concerns about the children’s living conditions.

The El Paso man accused in the affidavit has not been charged. New Mexico authorities said details from the investigation were provided to El Paso police.

Heather Pancer Sexual Predator from Indiana Working in CPS School Gets 10 Years for Sexually Abusing Two Students

SubX.News® Crime Report Oct 16, 2026

Heather Pancer, a 48-year-old former Chicago Public Schools (CPS) security guard at the time of her arrest, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in October 2026 for s*xually assaulting two female high school students.

Pancer, 49 at sentencing, lived in Hammond, Indiana, and worked as a school security officer at George Washington High School on Chicago's Far South Side.

Prosecutors said the abuse occurred between 2018 and 2020.

Pancer was charged with two felony counts of criminal s*xual assault involving victims ages 13–17 while serving in a supervisory position.

According to prosecutors, Pancer targeted the first victim when the student was 15, inviting her to her home under the pretense of needing help caring for her autistic son and her husband, who was dying of colon cancer.

Prosecutors said the first assault occurred in October 2018 after the student visited Pancer's home, with the abuse continuing over the following months.

A second student, approximately 16 to 17 years old, was s*xually abused between 2019 and 2020.

Prosecutors said Pancer developed a relationship with the student after meeting her at school and repeatedly invited her to her home.

Investigators began examining the allegations after the first victim disclosed the abuse to her boyfriend in 2025. He encouraged her to report it to CPS, prompting investigations by the district's inspector general and Chicago police.

Detectives subsequently discovered a photograph of Pancer in bed with another student, leading investigators to identify the second victim.

Pancer turned herself in to Chicago police in October 2025.

According to an October 15, 2026, report by CWB Chicago, Pancer pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal s*xual assault involving victims between 13 and 17 years old by a person in a supervisory position.

Cook County Judge Michael Clancy sentenced her to five years in prison on each count, with the sentences to run consecutively for a total of 10 years.

Illinois law requires Pancer to serve 85% of her sentence. Her projected release date is April 2034.

Union Mills man arrested, facing 26 counts of child exploitation

A Union Mills man is facing 26 counts of child exploitation after being arrested Tuesday, according to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office announced the arrest in connection with an investigation that originated from a National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTip.

In May, NCMEC received information from a report made by Snapchat concerning online activity involving suspected Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The CyberTip was forwarded to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Sheriff’s Office ICAC Detectives were assigned to the CyberTip in July and initiated a two-month long investigation into the information contained within the CyberTip. Detectives worked to identify the individual associated with the reported activity, developed additional evidence, and ultimately established probable cause for an arrest.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, deputies assigned to the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 46-year-old Paul Fasshauer for 26 counts of child exploitation. Immediately thereafter, Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at Fasshauer’s nearby residence.

NEW IMAGE RELEASED IN 52-YEAR-OLD MISSING CHILD CASE
Joseph Hurtado was just 20 months old when he disappeared from El Paso, Texas. More than five decades later, his family is still searching for answers.

Now, NCMEC and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are releasing a new age-progressed image showing what Joseph may look like today at age 53.

Joseph’s younger sister, Marie, was born years after he disappeared but has spent decades searching for the brother she never had the chance to know.

“Our family has spent years searching for answers, but we have never lost hope,” Marie said. “We love and miss our brother more than words can express, and we will continue searching for him for as long as it takes. We’re asking the public to take one more look at his case and share any information you may have. Even the smallest detail could be the one that changes everything.”

Joseph disappeared Sept. 9, 1974, while playing outside his grandmother’s home. Despite extensive searches, he was never found.

At the time, Joseph had club feet and wore brown orthopedic shoes. He also had a birthmark near his right kidney.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at (915) 538-2217 or NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678). Poster: https://www.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/601771/1

🚨 5 Reasons Why Human Trafficking Investigations Are Essential

Human trafficking doesn’t stop simply because a victim is identified. Thorough investigations are critical to uncovering the truth, protecting victims, and stopping traffickers from exploiting others.

🔎 1. Rescue & Protect Victims
Investigations can identify people trapped in exploitation through force, fraud, coercion, or manipulation—and connect survivors with the support they need to begin rebuilding their lives.

🛑 2. Break the Cycle of Exploitation
Stopping one trafficker can prevent additional victims from being exploited. Investigations disrupt trafficking operations and help prevent continued harm.

⚖️ 3. Hold Traffickers Accountable
Evidence gathered through investigations can help prosecutors build cases and ensure those responsible face the legal consequences of their actions.

🕵️ 4. Uncover Criminal Networks
Trafficking can intersect with other criminal activity, including organized crime, drug trafficking, and money laundering. Investigations can expose connections that may otherwise remain hidden.

📚 5. Prevent Future Exploitation
Investigations provide valuable intelligence about trafficking methods, patterns, and vulnerabilities. That information can strengthen prevention, education, victim identification, and community awareness.

Human trafficking investigations aren't just about solving crimes—they're about saving lives, preventing further exploitation, and bringing hidden criminal activity into the light. 🛡️

ATB has a team dedicated to investigating human trafficking. Our operations are conducted in conjunction with host-country law enforcement partners, helping create a coordinated response to this global crisis. 🌎🤝
