As Barron’s Catering & Food Service continues to grow, we are expanding our team and seeking dependable, professional, and hardworking individuals who are ready to become part of a structured hospitality organization.
We offer an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to supplement their income, maintain a second job, or gain experience and grow within the hospitality industry.
However, we want to be very clear about our expectations.
THIS IS A JOB, NOT AN OCCASIONAL SIDE GIG.
While our positions offer scheduling flexibility, employment with Barron’s requires the same level of responsibility, attendance, accountability, and professionalism expected in any other workplace.
SCHEDULING & AVAILABILITY
All applicants are required to submit their availability during the application process.
If hired, you may be scheduled for ANY day or time that falls within the availability you provided.
Your submitted availability is considered your commitment to work during those periods, not a list of preferred or optional shifts.
Scheduling is determined by operational needs, event volume, and staffing requirements. Available hours are not guaranteed.
We understand that many employees have other jobs, school schedules, and family responsibilities. We welcome that! However, applicants should provide availability they can consistently honor.
Once scheduled, employees are expected to report for their assigned shifts unless an absence or schedule change has been approved in accordance with company policy.
POSITIONS & STARTING PAY
• Team Members — $12/hour
• Team Lead Assists — $14/hour
• Team Leaders — $16/hour
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITIES
• Degree Incentive: Additional $1/hour for employees with a qualifying degree.
• Vehicle Usage: Additional $2/hour during events where an employee’s personal vehicle is approved and utilized to transport décor or supply boxes.
• Travel Incentive: Additional $2/hour when traveling to events more than 2.5 hours from our Mobile kitchen.
• Event Gratuities: All tips received from clients are divided evenly among eligible event staff. Our owners do not participate in tip distributions, even when actively working an event.
