HUGE bakery business closeout sale on April 5th, 7am -12 noon at 6501 Lighthouse Court, Mobile, AL. This is in connection with the Heritage Woods Subdivision Yard Sale being held that day.

As many of you might remember, I was in a horrific wreck in October 2023 just as I was launching my Cottage Bakery Business. After a hard year of surgeries and rehab it was apparent that I would not be able to re-kindle my business. EVERYTHING I have connected to my business will be sold and everything is brand new and most are still in the manufacturer packaging.

Some of the MANY items I have to sell are: 100s of bakery supplies to use for cookies, cakes, cake pucks, cake pops, bundt cakes, etc. Molds and pans for baking and/or shaping bakery items. I have a thermal label printer and supplies as well as an air brush machine and case as well as airbrush colors. I have a KODAK Luma 150 projector with case and stand as well as backdrops to take food related pictures. Display stands for catering and/or displaying various baked goods at live events as well as booth decorations.

Quick update on my business being "on hold". I ended up having major shoulder surgery November 30th as a result of the wreck where the lady ran into me, totally my car and seriously damaging my right shoulder. I'm not sure how long I'll be "out of commission" and unable to bake but during my down time I'll be researching recipes and techniques so that when I relaunch my business it will be bigger and better! Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts and I hope to be back doing what I love to do soon!!

I'm sorry I ended up canceling my appearance at Fatty Matty's Farmer's in the Dale that is going on today. I really tried hard to get some great products out to you but an unexpected and incapacitating illness and too much strain on my shoulder that I'm going to have surgery on forced me to back out around 9 pm last night.

After my surgery on my shoulder, I will be "relaunching" my business. Hopefully during my recovery period (as my arm allows), I will be developing some great new recipes for yall.

I hope Farmer's in the Dale was a success for my son (Fatty Matty) and his family as well as all the small businesses that were able to attend!

Hope everyone is doing well and getting excited for the Farmer's in the Dale event next weekend. It will be Saturday, November 18th 10-5:30 pm at my son Matt McLain BBQ Restaurant, Fatty Matty's at 16897 Highway 45 Fruitdale , Alabama 36539.

I'm baking and decorating some goodies to sell and here is a sneak peek of one of those treats. This is a Blue Monster Cookie which is 6 oz of cookie dough with an Oreo AND a Chips Ahoy cookie inside. And yes, it's delicious and HUGE at 4 1/2" round.
