Summer Sundays at Dandelion
Seasonal Cooking Demo & Shared Supper
I’m biting the bullet and doing the thing I keep saying I want to do: small, intimate cooking demos in the Dandelion Catering kitchen.
This summer, I’m hosting a 4-part Sunday series focused on practical, beautiful ways to actually use all that summer produce before it turns into a sad science experiment in the back of your fridge.
Each Sunday will include a chef-led seasonal cooking demonstration, printed recipes to take home, and a shared supper at the end. Less formal cooking class, more relaxed kitchen table learning with good food and useful techniques.
This is a demo-style class, not hands-on, which means you get to watch, ask questions, take notes, eat well, and leave with ideas you can actually use at home.
Series topics include:
Summer Soups
Chilled soups, blended vegetable soups, herb oils, garnishes, and how to build flavor with peak-season produce.
Summer Pasta Dishes
Fresh sauces, seasonal vegetables, herbs, pasta water magic, and simple techniques for better weeknight pasta.
Summer Salads
Composed salads, grain salads, vinaigrettes, texture, herbs, acid, crunch, and making salads that are not depressing.
Summer Vegetable Preservation
Quick pickles, jams, freezing, infused vinegars/oils, and practical ways to stretch the season a little longer.
Seats are intentionally limited to 8 guests per class.
Pricing:
Single Sunday: $85
Full 4-part series: $325
Early bird full series: $300
Series guests will also receive a recipe binder to build throughout the course, because apparently I am still a woman who believes in printed recipes and organized tabs.
Come hungry, curious, and ready to learn a few things without anyone making you dice onions under pressure.
More details and dates coming soon.
