I substituted water for coffee for this loaf of sourdough and what happened was better than I ever expected….

My science brain kept wondering how the acidity of the coffee would impact my bulk fermentation but truthfully it didn’t really make a big difference, which shocked me🤯

This espresso chocolate chip loaf had seriously some of the best flavored I’ve tried in an inclusion loaf 😋☕️🍫

As a home bakery… the dishes never seem to end and washing my Dutch ovens used to be something that was sooo much work. Now with this method, cleaning is quick, easy and effective!

1. Fill Dutch oven with water and bowl on the stove
2. Once the water is boiled, add baking soda… be generous I find that more makes the scrub a lot faster!
3. Boil for 2-3 more minutes with the baking soda.
4. Turn off the stove and let cool.
5. Rinse with warm water & lightly scrub with a sponge 🧽
6. And boom, shiny & clean🤩

FTLOD fam, HAPPY 2 MONTHS of this little bakery!! 🥹 I could cry tears of joy from the growth that I have experienced over the last two months.

With that being said effective June 8th my prices will be slightly increased with some prices going unchanged!!!
